Three freshwater fish in community tank described

Three freshwater fish in the tank of the community are described below along with their characteristics, tanks and optimum feeding and breeding requirements.

Dwarf Pencil Fish – Nannostomus marginatus (Family: Lebiasinidae)

Behavior: It's a little shy and likes his fellow dwarves so its better to have fewer of them in your aquarium. Grow to about 3 inches when they are slow swimmers, adults and you will have plenty of time to admire them!.

Water and tank conditions: This fish will give good results if there are plenty of swimming space and an area planted and have told us that is a bit shy. A temperature range water of about 24 degrees is ideal.

Features and Colors: There are differences between the sexes, but are slightly subtle. Females are not as rare as men and are not as bright colors. There are three bands along the sides of the fish. The middle one is gold with dark brown on both sides. The back is a golden brown to gray-brown body. The fins are red around the perimeter and the bottoms are red. An unusual feature Nannostomus gender is that the horizontal bands change shape when they are scared or in time of dusk. Change the lines that bend instead.

Food: We accept all types of food, but remember that a small mouth that food must be of adequate size.

Reproduction Conditions: Like the croaking tetra fish pen race is not easily done. Water and tank conditions: Plant wise, a mixture of both submerged and floating varieties are needed. For water, an average temperature of about 22 degrees Celsius will be alright, although it can tolerate a fairly wide range.

Features and Colors: Green Rivulus, as its name implies, is olive green with darker spots that are green. It also has red spots near the back. It is also known as the Cuban Rivulus. There are many aquarium species seen in this genre and they all differ in color, but are their behavior and the same main features. In particular, all have a fake eye, "which in reality is a place near the top of the fin peduncle.

Other species found are the eye in situ or Ocellated Rivulus (Rivulus ocellatus), bone-herring Rivulus (Rivulus strigatus), the band Yellow Rivulus (Rivulus xanthonotus) tail of fire Rivulus (Rivulus Milesi) and Hart Rivulus (Rivulus harti).

Food: These fish become much more active at lunchtime in compared with his character at times lethargic. In general, are not picky about the food they are given.

Water and tank conditions: 24 degrees is sufficient.

Features and Colors: They are called hunchback, because the display of small fish arched back, which increases as they age. The other parameter that also changes with age is the color. The younger are recognized by their olive color, black and yellow vertical stripes underneath.

The larger fish have iridescent spots green bands, the stomach has a dark edge, the spiny dorsal fin is larger black. As in many cases the female is duller than the male, color wise, not personality wise!

Freshwater fish can live in salt water, salt water and can live in freshwater fish?

If you can not answer my big question, could you tell me at least the difference (if any) in gills of freshwater fish and saltwater fish gills? How exactly the gills work? How do so that the oxygen out of water?
