How do you build a base of the aquarium?
I've heard its not safe to build a base of the aquarium. although the reason I take is that most Ive seen are ugly. I also heard somewhere that if u get a tank of metal and wood to stand around it, it would be insurance. is this true, and I can do this? I want to get the aquarium is 75 gallons.
For a very large tank, do not do yourself. It will end in a very messy wet tragedy. The thing is that it will easily weigh over 700 pounds when full of water and rocks and equipment. Even if you keep the tanks can not be sure it is properly supporting all that weight and that can lead to uneven pressure cracks. If you really hate how they look, buy a proper and put a cover over beautiful wood in front of it.
